2nd Annual Girls in Government Day

We’re hosting the 2nd Annual Girls in Government Day, and are currently accepting applications! Girls in Government Day is a half day event on Saturday, May 18th where young women will experience what it’s like to serve on City Council and explore other careers within local government. They’ll meet other future leaders and participate in interactive games that will put them in decision-making positions. Each person must submit an application to participate. Who: Open to those who identify as girls between the ages of 8 and 18 What: Girls in Government Day 2019 When: Saturday, May 18th, 8am-3pm; please add this date to your calendar Where: Location will be released by email if you’ve been accepted, 2-3 weeks after the application deadline Please note: We’re only able to accept 40 girls in each age group (8-11, 12-14, 15-18). The first 40 girls per age group to submit complete applications will be accepted into the program.
